Two shiny pottery kilns with digital controllers in a workshop.

State Street Clay’s kiln room consists of two 10 cu.ft. electric cone 6 kilns and one 1 cu.ft. Glaze Tech kiln.

Rules:

1. We expect your pieces to be constructed and glazed correctly. If your glaze runs onto the shelves you will be charged for shelf cleaning or a new kiln shelf.

2. If your work blows up in the kiln and ruins other people’s work, you will be charged accordingly.

3. Any items not picked up within 30 days of the completion will be considered abandoned, becomes property of studio and may be discarded or donated.

4. Clay must be purchased from State Street Clay with a record in our computer system.

5. No small flat pieces are allowed. We will not fire flat pieces smaller than a smart phone.

6. No stilting, all bottoms must be free of glaze.
